Carduus brooch by Willem van Norden

A very rare, and fine piece of craftmenship, that is what this brooch by Willem van Norden is. Made around 1915 by de Distel, Amsterdam.Willem van Norden was well known for his 'carduus-technique'. You can find still several tiles by van Norden with this technique. These broches are very rare. It still has the original needle too.On the backside is a minor chip, although the needle is still very good in it's place, see the last picture.
